Red Pump Trio

Now offered as a Trio, our popular Red Pump 2021 is the perfect representation of the grapes in this blend: Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat and Norton. Not just a mishmash, but a measured blending, so the best characteristics of each grape shine through. The sweet nose brings to mind black cherry and raspberry followed by deeper fruit flavors of prune and raisin, with a finish that’s lightly acidic and with light tannins. Red Pump is the perfect pairing wine for spicy foods, burgers from the grill, pizza and is best served at room temp or slightly chilled. Keep this one on deck for a backyard barbecue, or a relaxing gathering with friends.

Nose:  black cherry, raspberry, prune, raisin, balsamic

Palate:  sour cherry, pomegranate, cola nut, red licorice

Finish:  light finish, light tannin and acidity
