Bundle Up Trio

To honor the winter season we've curated a trio of wines that pair well with winter comfort foods and relaxing evenings in front of the fire.  Bundle up and pour a glass!

Our Sparkling Rose 2021 is made in a champagne-style, featuring both floral and fruity characteristics on the nose and palate with a finish that is crisp and slightly dry. The red varietals lucky enough to find their way into our Sparkling Rosé are treated like our white wines:  fermented and aged in stainless steel before receiving carbonation. Truly one of our most popular wines, this Sparkling Rosé is worthy of celebrating any special occasion. 

Chardonnay 2020 is a Virginia Governor's Cup 2022 - Silver Medal Winner.  It is smooth, balanced, and confident--the ideal dinner partner. She’s hard to beat, with aromas of lavender and thyme and subtle hints of honeydew, and a light acidity to liven things up should the conversation drag. 

Wild Common 2019 is a Virginia Governor's Cup 2022 and Monticello Cup 2022 - Silver Medal Winner.  It shares its name with our sister property and celebrated restaurant in Charleston, SC, and lives up to the high standards set by our previous award-winning vintages.  The intense nose features rhubarb and rosemary, with subtle hints of fruit and spice, underscored by raisin, black currant, and black olive on the palate. Medium plus tannins and medium acid make a lively finish, just like the conversation you’re enjoying across the table.

Blends:

Sparkling Rose 2021:  50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 2% Chambourcin

Chardonnay 2020:  98.8% Chardonnay, 1.2% Viognier

Wild Common 2019:  83.4% Merlot, 8.3% Tannat, 8.3% Cabernet Sauvignon
