Red Pump 2022

Our popular Red Pump 2022 is the perfect representation of the grapes in this blend: Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Chambourcin, Merlot, and Tannat. Not just a mishmash, but a measured blending, so the best characteristics of each grape shine through. The sweet nose brings to mind raisin and red licorice, followed by deeper fruit flavors of blackberry and black cherries, with a lightly acidic finish and light tannins. Red Pump is the perfect pairing wine for spicy foods, burgers from the grill, and pizza, and is best served at room temperature or slightly chilled. Keep this one on deck for a backyard barbecue or a relaxing gathering with friends.

Nose:  raisin, red licorice, black pepper, eucalyptus

Palate:  blackberries, black cherry, blueberry, black tea

Finish:  light finish, light tannin, and acidity

Cannon Red 2022

Named for our sister property in Charleston, SC, Cannon Green, this wine’s smoothness may hide the fact that it’s also complex and whimsical, earning its reputation as “an easy drinking red for a serious red drinker.” Like Cannon Green’s charming event space, it’s worthy of a special celebration, and equally fitting for a weeknight supper. The nose has hints of raisin, black currant, and red beet, the palate is full, with fig, date, and strawberry, and the finish has the perfect combination of a light, fruity body and soft tannins.

Nose:  raisin, black currant, fruitcake, red beet

Palate:  fig, date, sour cherry, strawberry, raspberry

Finish:  light body, light acid, and soft light plus tannins

Cabernet Franc 2022

Cabernet Franc is considered a signature grape of our wine-growing region, and we celebrate it as such.  You’ll find notes of red currant, cranberry, and raspberry with hints of milk chocolate, black olive, and red cherries on the palate, and a finish that has light plus body and medium tannins.  We recommend enjoying glasses by the fire or backyard grill or with family around the table.
