We're proud to share our Monticello Cup winners and the Overall Cup win for the Wild Acre 2017!
2023 Monticello Cup Gold Medal and Overall Monticello Cup Winner!!
Wild Acre 2017 - Introducing, Wild Acre 2017, our first Tannat and Cabernet Franc blend! With this first vintage, we wanted to showcase our vineyard, its Monticello terroir, and the mix of clay and loam soils that combine for great wine balance. It is the loam that defines the depth of this premium red wine blend, with its subtle full body, rich tannins, and deep notes of spice. 24 months of oak aging give this wine the spice-driven character that will let it age gracefully.
On the label, the aerial photo is literally 50 yards from our Tasting Room. It shows the ‘Wild’ natural touch of our surroundings and the ‘Acre’ of vines you can see from our veranda.
We hope you enjoy this wine as much as we have enjoyed creating it!

Sauvignon Blanc 2021 - Made from grapes grown at the best vineyard sites in the area this wine is a beautiful expression of what local terroir can produce. Our lovely climate means acidity remains high on these grapes, making it one of our best food wines, pairing particularly well with herb-driven sauces served over chicken, tofu, or fish dishes. With its distinctive, vivid aromas of chamomile and kiwi and bright hints of citrus and gooseberry on the tongue, it has a balanced, clean finish and a zesty acidity that makes this Sauvignon Blanc one of our best.
Nose: chamomile, lime zest, passionfruit, kiwi
Palate: grapefruit, lime, gooseberry, limestone, white pepper
Finish: medium plus acidity, light body, thin finish
Blends:
Wild Acre 2017: 60% Tannat, 40% Cabernet Franc
Sauvignon Blanc 2021: 95.3% Sauvignon Blanc, 4.7% Chardonnay
