Pippin Bouquet
We see our recently released 2023 Chardonnay as easy, balanced, and extremely food versatile. It shows aromas of pear and green almond, with subtle hints of golden apple, clementine, and persimmon on the palate. It finishes with a light plus acid that livens things up. This is another Chardonnay that is always dependable and will stay at the top of our favorites list!
Nose: pear, white pepper, grass, green almond
Palate: golden apple, clementine, persimmon, melon

The Viognier grape was almost extinct in the 1960's, with only 35 acres growing in France, but Virginia has played a role in its dynamic comeback. While the color and aroma may suggest a sweet wine, Viogniers are predominantly dry and are known for producing heavy aromatics with low acidity. Our 2023 vintage is fruit-forward with a creamy feel and light acidity, making it delightful to sip or pair with food.
Nose: lychee, white peach, apricot, orange blossom
Palate: mango, passion fruit, pineapple, vanilla bean
Finish: light minerality, light plus acid, creamy body
Varietal: 100% Viognier
Our Champagne-style Sparkling Rosé features floral and fruity characteristics on the nose and palate with a crisp and slightly dry finish. Those red varietals lucky enough to find their way into our Sparkling Rosé are treated like our white wines: fermented and aged in stainless steel before receiving carbonation. Truly one of our most popular wines, this Sparkling Rosé is worthy of celebrating any special occasion, including (sometimes) the fact that it’s only Tuesday.
