Reserve Rosé 2024

With its wide range of vineyard sites, unique mix of grape varieties, and each vintage having its own story to tell;  Virginia is uniquely suited to produce compelling Rosé wines each & every year.  Through attentive farming and hands-off winemaking, we achieve refreshing, transparent, fully flavored wines with moderate alcohol levels that are fun and interesting to drink.  Pippin Hill's 2024 Reserve Rosé focuses on revealing delicate aromas of lemongrass and violet, all held in check by a refreshing wave of crisp acidity.   Pressed after just a few hours of skin contact, this is a side of Merlot that few of us have seen before.  And many of us will want to see again.

Nose:  lemongrass, lychee, violet, strawberry jam, cinnamon

Palate:  lychee, watermelon rind, blood orange marmalade, clove

Finish:  bone dry, medium body, tart finish

Blend:  77.8% Merlot, 8.2% Petit Verdot, 7.2% Cab Franc, 6% Tannat, .8% Cab Sauv
