Viognier 2022
In Stock
The Viognier grape was almost extinct in the 1960's, with only 35 acres growing in France, but Virginia has played a role in its dynamic comeback. While the color and aroma may suggest a sweet wine, Viogniers are predominantly dry and are known for producing heavy aromatics with low acidity. Our 2022 vintage is fruit-forward with a creamy feel and light acidity, making it delightful to sip or pair with food.
Nose: jasmine, elderflower, lime, daffodil
Palate: nectarine, white peach, elderflower, limestone
Finish: light minerality, light plus acid, creamy body
Varietal: 100% Viognier
