Wild Winter Duo
Wild Common 2021
Our Wild Common shares its name with our sister property and celebrated restaurant in Charleston, SC. The 2021 vintage is made up of 94% Merlot and 6% Tannat. It’s aged 22 months in 56% new French oak and 44% neutral oak and lives up to the high standards set by our previous award-winning vintages. The intense nose features tobacco and red plum, with subtle hints of fruit and spice, underscored by raspberries, brown sugar, and clove on the palate. Medium plus tannins and medium acid make a lively finish, just like the conversation you’re enjoying across the table.

Wild Acre 2018
Our intention when imaging this wine, was to showcase our vineyard, its Monticello terroir, and the mix of clay and loam soils that combine for great wine balance. It is the loam that defines this premium red wine blend, its medium body and tannins, and red fruit notes. 24 months of oak aging give this wine the character that will let it age gracefully.
On the label, the aerial photo is literally 50 yards from our Tasting Room. It shows the ‘Wild’ natural touch of our surroundings and the ‘Acre’ of vines you can see from our veranda.
We hope you enjoy this wine as much as we have enjoyed creating it!
